工作职责

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Associate Director/Director of Bioinformatics & AI-Driven Translational Sciences to lead and expand our bioinformatics capabilities across the entire drug discovery and development continuum. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in integrating multi-omics data, driving biomarker discovery and validation, leading the design and optimization of oligonucleotide therapeutics, and advancing AI-enabled drug development strategies.

This leadership position will collaborate closely with Discovery Biology, Oligonucleotide therapeutics, Translational Medicine, Clinical Development to accelerate the development of innovative therapeutics from target identification through clinical proof-of-concept.

Key Responsibilities
1. Design and develop bioinformatics algorithms for omics/genes data analysis for drug discovery and development pipelines. Analyze patient omics/gene data using the developed algorithms for drug MOA, target identification, biomarker discovery and validation, AI model development, and other project-related activities.
2. Use various omics/gene data to analyze potential causal links between a novel target and disease indications, thereby supporting data-driven target selection and validation, including assessment of external collaborations.
3. Lead computational design and optimization of oligonucleotide therapeutics, including siRNA, ASO, miRNA-based therapeutics, and emerging RNA modalities; integrate AI-driven approaches into oligonucleotide sequence design workflows.
4. Lead bioinformatic research/data mining and re-analysis of data from internal and external databases to support drug development directions and strategies. Interpret analysis results appropriately and present accurately to leadership team.

任职资格

Qualification:

1.PhD in bioinformatics
2.Solid knowledge and 8+ years of relevant experiences following PhD;
3.Ability to translate complex biological questions into computational solutions;
4.Demostrated experience in oligonucleotide therapeutic sequence design and optimization;
5.Strong understanding of drug discovery, translational medicine, clinical development, and precision medicine;
6.Experience with machine learning, deep learning, statistical modeling, and data visualization;
7.Strong capabilities of independent thinking, learning and innovation.
